Description: Role Summary/Purpose: Work with the regional Power Generation sales team implementing Commercial and Sales strategy in the region to ensure business Growth & Profitability.
Responsibilities: Essential Responsibilities * Responsible for follow up and developing projects and key customer relationships in Scandinavia, primarily Norway, for Power Generation Wind on- and offshore products through the development and execution of specific account and project strategies. * Support the Region sales team in wind projects as necessary. Responsible for whole project lifecycle from pre-bid through to closure during ITO phase and coordinate the ITO (Inquiry to Order) team during bid preparation and contract negotiations in close collaboration with Commercial Operations and GPO. * Drive and lead sales initiatives at projects/risks reviews providing clear strategy to the business. * Lead projects development to meet customers identified Critical to Quality (CTQ) needs. Manage customer satisfaction and escalate customer concerns internally. * Act as a single point of contact with customers throughout the whole ITO process. * Boundary less teamwork with other GE Sales and Business Development teams to provide coordinated sales approaches to customers. * Closely coordinate business activities with Global Sales, Country executives & other GE Business Leaders. * Incorporate Six Sigma Quality tools to improve the ITO process, increase market penetration, customers touch time and profitability. * Full adherence to Company Policies. * Frequent Travels in the area covered will be required.
Requirements: Qualifications/Requirements * BS/ BE in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Business School Degree * 4+ years of proven successful sales experience * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead multi-functional teams and communicate with colleagues and customers at all levels * Good knowledge of Terms & Conditions and negotiations of contracts involving partners * Excellent presentation and communication skills * Knowledge of customer motivation and financial drivers * Knowledge of power generation, oil & gas or offshore products and offerings, ideally with specific focus on wind turbines * Fluent in Norwegian & English * Ease of Computer/IT use, proficient in multiple software applications Desired Characteristics * Technical Sales Leadership Program or Field Engineering Program graduate * GB Certified You MUST submit your application for employment through gecareers.com to be considered.
